What is the difference between Quikbook.com Hotels and Quikbook.com's Hotel Marketplace?
Quikbook.com Hotels
This is Quikbook.com's core service: individually negotiated discount rates at hand-picked hotels in America's larger cities. This is what we do best. What's more, most Quikbook.com Hotels are designated Quikpick and do not require you to pre-pay for your stay. You can book them today and pay the hotel directly when you check out. And if you need to change or cancel your reservations at these hotels you can do so without any penalty fees or charges. Our praise-winning policies are designed to provide frequent travelers with the flexibility they need. No other hotel reservation site can offer you these conveniences.
Hotel Marketplace
Be sure to use Quikbook.com Hotels for discounted reservations in major US and International cities. For other destinations, check out over 55,000 hotels worldwide at our Hotel Marketplace. Hotel Marketplace will offer a great selection in smaller US and International cities too!
It's important to note, however, that unlike Quikbook.com Hotels, most Hotel Marketplace reservations require pre-payment. Furthermore, the extremely favorable promotions, sale rates, and cancellation policies you find at Quikbook.com Hotels are not applicable to hotels featured on Hotel Marketplace.

For Quikbook.com Hotels, what is the difference between "Quikpick" and "Pre-pay"?
Quikpick
Pre-payment is not required for most Quikbook.com Hotels. These "Quikpick" hotels give you the freedom to make a confirmed reservation, guarantee it with a credit card and pay when you check out. That way you have the flexibility to change your plans without paying any penalty fees or charges.
The price you see on our website when you make your reservation is just for the cost of the room. When you pay for your room at checkout, the hotel will add any local taxes and fees, as well as any charges for meals, pay-per-view movies, phone calls or other incidentals you have incurred during your stay.
Quikbook.com will never charge you a fee for changes or cancellations to "Quikpick" bookings.
Pre Pay
Pre-pay applies to hotels that request payment at the time you make your reservation. When you check out at the end of your stay, the hotel will only charge you for meals, pay-per-view movies, phone calls or other incidentals you may have incurred during your stay.
Some of our hotels offer Pre-pay, Non-Refundable, No Change room categories. If you book one of these room categories the hotel (not Quikbook.com) will charge you the room rates plus taxes at the time of booking. The room rates quoted on Quikbook.com do not include taxes.
If you choose to change or cancel your refundable Quikbook.com pre-paid reservation four (4) or more days prior to arrival, Quikbook.com Hotels will charge you a fee of $10. If you choose to change or cancel your pre-paid reservation within 4 days of arrival Quikbook.com Hotels will charge you a fee of $35. Both of these dollar amounts are way below industry standards.
Whether you "Pre-pay" or "Quikpick," you still get the guaranteed lowest rate at your chosen Quikbook.com Hotel.
Does Quikbook.com charge fees to make a Quikbook.com Hotel reservation?
We do not add on any other fees to "process" your reservation like some websites
do.
Only pre-paid rates include an amount for "taxes and fees" and we clearly
reveal this amount before you complete your reservation.
Will taxes or extra charges be added to my Quikbook.com Hotel room rate?
If you choose a "Quikpick" hotel, the total you see on our website when you make your reservation is for the room rate only. When you pay for your room at checkout, the hotel will add any local taxes and fees, as well as any charges you've incurred for meals, pay-per-view movies, phone calls or other incidentals during your stay.
If you choose a "Pre-pay" hotel, we will show you the total cost of your room, including taxes and fees, before you complete your reservation. When you check out at the end of your stay, the hotel will only charge you for any meals, pay-per-view movies, phone calls or other incidentals you incurred during your stay.
Why don't you show the total nightly rate, including taxes, when I make a Quikpick Quikbook.com Hotel reservation?
Tax rates change. You could make a reservation today for a stay 3 months from now and we'd have no way to know for sure what the tax rate will be when you pay the hotel at check out. We don't want to give our customers any inaccurate, or best-guess information.
Using My Quikbook.com File
What is My Quikbook.com File?
My Quikbook.com File is a secure, private record of the information we need to make and confirm reservations for you. After you create My Quikbook.com File, we use the information in it when you make a reservation so you never have to re-enter it again.
How do I create My Quikbook.com File?
Click on the My Quikbook.com File button that is at the top of every page of our website. Or, the first time you make a reservation, we will prompt to you to complete the necessary profile information.
What information does it contain?
It includes your name, business or home address, phone number, email address, and a credit card to secure or pay for hotel reservations you make. After you make your first reservation, My Quikbook.com File also contains your Guest List and a record of current and past reservations.
Why do I have to log in to complete a reservation?
We prompt you to log in when we need to add your personal information to the reservation you are making. Because everything we need is already in My Quikbook.com File, you never need to re-enter personal information.
Is my credit card and other information secure?
Absolutely. The secure server software we use is the industry standard and represents the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. Secure Socket Layer encryption technology codes all of your personal information including your credit card number, your name and address so that it cannot be read by anyone else as it travels over the Internet. For added security, your credit card information is encrypted as it is stored in our database. We never share your personal information with anyone for any reason. Does Quikbook.com use "cookies"?
Quikbook.com uses temporary cookies to hold information during your reservation session as you move from screen to screen. Quikbook.com does not use cookies to collect or store information on you, your bookings, or your computer. Click here for more info.
How can I change or update My Quikbook.com File?
Use the "My Quikbook.com File" button at the top of any page to log in. After you do, the first page you see offers simple instructions for how to use and revise My Quikbook.com File.
What if I forget my Login Name or Password?
On the login page for My Quikbook.com File, click I forgot my Login Name and/or Password. Follow the instructions and we will email the information to you.
Making a Reservation
What is Quikbook.com's lowest rate guarantee?
This guarantee applies to every hotel and every room offered by Quikbook.com. If, within 3 days after making a Quikbook.com reservation, you find a lower total price for your entire stay at the same hotel in the same room type on the same days, we'll match the rate. Visit our contact us page and provide the following information to verify the lower rate: The hotel's name, the date(s) of the stay, room type, the rate per night and the URL (web address) where this information was found. This guarantee does not apply to rates quoted on sites that let you bid for prices.
Does the Quikbook.com lowest rate guarantee apply to rooms booked through Hotel Marketplace?
No. If you can't find a hotel or destination you want at Quikbook.com, we recommend that you try Hotel Marketplace. This separate website offers 55,000 hotels worldwide at rates quoted by the hotels. Since Quikbook.com does not negotiate these rates, our guarantee doesn't apply to them. Our separate Hotel Marketplace agents can be reached by calling (877) 999-3112.
What is the quickest way to book?
On our homepage, enter the details of your stay and we will show you a list of available hotels with the rate for each night of your stay. When you find a hotel and room type you want, click the Book Now button to begin your reservation.
How can I find a specific hotel?
On our homepage, use the "Find a specific hotel on the map:" pulldown menu for all hotels we offer in your destination. Click on the hotel's name and you see our exclusive Hotel Profile for the hotel. A button under the hotel description allows you to request availability for this hotel only on the dates you request.
Why can't I find the specific hotel I wanted?
Quikbook.com offers a select list of great hotels with which we have negotiated the guaranteed lowest prices. At Quikbook.com we only offer hotels that have agreed to give our customers their lowest rates.
I know Quikbook.com offers the hotel I want, so why didn't it show up in my search?
That hotel may not be in the price range or neighborhood you selected or it may not have any rooms for the arrival date you specified. Try broadening your search parameters or change the arrival date if your travel plans are flexible. We also suggest you try our Hotel Marketplace to search over 55,000 hotels in the U.S and internationally.
Can Quikbook.com help me book a hotel not available on your site?
Yes. If you don't see the destination or specific hotel you want, we'll offer you a link to Hotel Marketplace where you can shop over 55,000 hotels worldwide. We provide access to this hotel reservation engine as a courtesy to Quikbook.com customers.
How can I get more information about a hotel I am considering?
Click on any hotel name on our website and you will see our exclusive Hotel Profile for the property. It includes a description, photos, a list of all amenities, a link to a map, and comments from other Quikbook.com guests who have stayed there.
What are the bedding options for rooms?
- Single: 1 person, 1 bed
- Double: 2 people, 1 bed
- Twin: 2 people, 2 beds
- Triple: 3 people, 2 beds
- Quad: 4 people, 2 beds
What do Q Ratings mean?
Every Hotel Profile includes a Q Rating. This is Quikbook.com's own way of objectively evaluating the number of features and amenities a hotel provides. The ratings are based on an individual assessment of each hotel and are not meant to suggest service quality. For more details, click here.
What kind of hotel rooms will I get through Quikbook.com?
You get the same rooms you'd get if you booked directly with the hotel... only you pay a lot less.
What does my Quikbook.com Confirmation Number do for me?
You will always receive a Quikbook.com Confirmation Number to indicate that our system has accepted your reservation. You use this number to refer to your reservation any time you communicate with Quikbook.com to change, cancel or ask questions about a reservation. The hotel does NOT have this number. You can always find your Quikbook.com Confirmation Numbers in the Reservation History Section of My Quikbook.com File. If you have a reservation for a hotel that requires prepayment, this is the ONLY confirmation number you will receive.
Why did I get a Hotel Confirmation Number too?
If you have a reservation that does NOT require prepayment, within 3-5 business days we also send you a separate Hotel Confirmation Number generated by the hotel. This is the number you should take with you when you check in and refer to when talking to the hotel about your reservation. The Hotel Confirmation Number will also appear with your records in My Quikbook.com File.
What if I don't receive a hotel confirmation number?
If your hotel does NOT require prepayment, please wait 3-5 business days for the Hotel Confirmation Number to arrive (by fax or email, whichever you designated). If after that time you still haven't received it, please call a customer service representative at (800) 789-9887 or (212) 779-7666 if outside of the U.S. Representatives are available Mon-Fri from 9am to 7pm ET and Sat. from 11am to 4pm ET.
How do I change or cancel a reservation?
You can make changes or cancel your reservation online at Quikbook.com or by calling a reservation agent at (800) 789-9887. Please do not call the hotel.
To change or cancel a Hotel Marketplace reservation, please call 866-270-2849.
How do I make a reservation for someone else?
It's easy. Begin your reservation like usual. When we ask you to tell us which guest(s) will be staying in the room, pick the name of the person you're booking for. If the guest is not already on your Guest List, you can add the name at that time. The room can also be guaranteed or paid for by that guest's credit card. When we ask you to indicate which card is to be used for the reservation, click the link to review your default card and add the card information for the guest's credit card. Once you've done that you can select the guest's card and complete the reservation.
Can I get hotel "frequent stay" points for my Quikbook.com reservation?
Because each hotel chain has its own unique system for offering points, Quikbook.com isn't able to collect numbers and handle points. However, as a member of a frequent guest program, you should be able to claim your points directly from the hotel. When you check in, show your member card or provide your membership number. In most cases, you should be rewarded points like usual. We'd recommend calling the hotel in advance if you need to know what its procedure is.
Payment, Change & Cancellation Policies
What is the difference between "Quikpick" and "Prepay"?
"Quikpick" means that no pre-payment is required when you make your reservation. You still get the guaranteed lowest rate. But we will only use your credit card to secure such a reservation. You pay nothing until you check out at the end of your stay.
"Prepay" applies to hotels that request pre-payment as soon as you make your reservation. Before the final step of your booking, we clearly state the total amount that will be charged to your credit card.
Does Quikbook.com charge fees to make a reservation?
Prepaid rates only include an amount for "taxes and fees." We reveal this amount before you complete your reservation. We do not add on any other fees to "process your reservation like some websites do.

Are there fees to change or cancel a reservation?
There is no extra cost to you if you change or cancel a NON-prepaid reservation. The Change/Cancel Service for prepaid reservations is $10 far less than other sites charge you to alter a prepaid reservation.
Hotel cancellation policies vary from hotel to hotel. Please see hotel specific policies for more details.
Where can I find the cancellation policy for the hotel I choose?
On the last screen you see before completing your Quikbook.com reservation, we always disclose the details of the cancellation policy that pertains to your hotel. This same cancellation policy also appears in the Quikbook.com Hotel Confirmation that we send to you upon completion of your reservation. On each Hotel Profile page, you will also find a link to the cancellation policy for that hotel.
What are resort fees?
Some hotels charge resort fees that are not included in the Quikbook.com rate. Check the hotel description to verify whether or not your resort has such a fee.
Can I use a non-U.S. credit card?
Yes. When you provide information about your credit card, be sure to fill in the "Country" field with the name of the country where the card was issued.
When I book a room outside the U.S. will I be charged in U.S. dollars?
Yes. All Quikbook.com prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and in the case of non-U.S. hotels that require prepayment, all charges are also in U.S. dollars.
If I need to make last-minute reservation changes, whom should I contact?
Up until your hotel's change/cancellation policy takes effect before check-in:
You can make changes online at Quikbook.com. Or you can call Quikbook.com directly; our business hours and phone number appear on every page of our website. Some changes may be subject to fees. See the change/cancellation policies printed on your confirmation.
I'll be checking in a few hours late.
- If you prepaid your reservation, please call Quikbook.com directly. Our business hours and phone number appear on every page of our website. If our call center is closed, please call the hotel directly.
- If you made a "pay when you stay" reservation, call the hotel with an estimated time of arrival. The hotel's phone number is listed in your confirmation.
Due to travel delays, I won't be able to check in until the early morning or the next day.
Contact the hotel directly and ask to speak to a front desk supervisor. Explain the situation and get the name of the person you talk to. It is possible that you will be charged one night's room and tax. We strongly advise you to get documented proof of the delay or cancellation; it may help you get a refund.
I need to shorten my stay at the last-minute before check-in.

- If you booked a "pay when you stay" reservation, contact the hotel using the phone number printed on your confirmation. You may be subject to fees based on the change/cancellation policy that appears on your confirmation.
I am staying at the hotel now, but need to check out early.
- If your reservation is prepaid, please call Quikbook.com directly. Our business hours and phone number appear on every page of our website. You may be subject to fees based on the change/cancellation policy that appears on your confirmation. If you do not notify Quikbook.com until after you check out, it is up to the discretion of the hotel as to whether you will receive any refund. You also may be subject to an early departure fee of $50.00 levied by Quikbook.
- If you booked a "pay when you stay" reservation, contact the hotel's front desk. At the discretion of the hotel, you may be subject to penalties based on the cancellation policy that appears on your confirmation.
I am staying at the hotel now, but need to extend my stay.

Troubleshooting
I can't find a reservation I made by phone.
In some cases, reservations you made with Quikbook.com by phone may not appear in My Quikbook.com File. If you need to change or cancel a reservation and can't find it online, please call (800) 789-9887. Internationally, call (212) 779-7666.
I forgot my password.
Simply go to My Quikbook.com File and click the "Forget your login name and/or password?" link. We'll locate your records, guarantee your identity, and email the information to you.
I couldn't enter my credit card number.
Do not use spaces, dashes, or any other punctuation when entering your credit card number. (For example: enter 4111111111111111 instead of 4111-1111-1111-1111.)
I received an error when trying to make my prepaid reservation.
If the error stated "credit card processing delay", please do not make another reservation. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us immediately.
If I'm not satisfied with the hotel or my room, whom should I contact?
The first and best way to resolve an issue with your hotel is to contact the front desk supervisor immediately. It is important for you to register your concern with the hotel during your stay. The hotel will determine how to resolve your issue. If the hotel does not take satisfactory action, please note your complaints and the names of hotel staff members with whom you speak. If you decide to leave the hotel and seek alternate accommodations, please call Quikbook.com to see if we can rectify the problem before you move. If you decide to change hotels anyway, we will do our best to help you find alternate accommodations. Please note it will be up to the hotel to decide what if any refund you will receive. We strongly advise you to not leave the hotel until you know what charges, if any, you will incur.
